The ADSS Department will be hosting 2 big fundraisers this year. Come out on September 12th to the Voodoo Brewery Compound for Vendors, Food Music, 50/50 and more. On September 19th please join us at the Cambridge Springs Carnival Grounds for Bingo. 12 games, huge Chinese auction, side boards and pull tubs. This event is BYOB. If you or anyone you know is interested in being a vendor at the 3rd Annual Fall Into Autumn Craft show or in tickets for Bingo Palooza please reach out. Come out to both and support a great cause!!

Now Hiring – Foster Care Team Member

At Child to Family Connections, we are dedicated to helping children find safe, loving homes and supporting families through every step of their journey. We honor the lived experiences of children, caregivers, and employees by centering their voices in everything we do.

We are looking for an outgoing, compassionate person to join our team! This is a unique opportunity to learn about the foster care system while making a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families in our community. The right candidate will receive training to support foster families and foster youth in accordance with agency values and state regulations.

We are looking for someone who is:

· Friendly and motivated

· Organized and dependable

· Comfortable communicating with families and professionals

· Comfortable using social media and Microsoft Office

Position Details:

· Full-time position with benefits package including:

· Medical and dental insurance

· Retirement plan

· Vacation and holiday time

· Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

· Primarily daytime hours, with some evening responsibilities

Requirements:

· Must be at least 23 years old

· Reliable transportation

· Valid driver’s license

· Ability to pass required background clearances

This year the ADSS Department tried a new activity. We were pen pals with a second grade class at McKean Elementary School. We wrote back and forth for the school year and really enjoyed it. In December we visited our pen pals and made gingerbread houses. Today the St. Francis Ushers Club in McKean welcomed us for bowling and pizza. We said goodbye to our pen pals today. It was bittersweet. Some tears were shed and our new friends will be missed. We will continue on with new pen pals next school year but we will never forget our first pen pals!

At Child to Family Connections, we see every day how strong our community is when it comes together to support children and families. Foster parents, caseworkers, relatives, and community partners all play a role in helping children feel safe and cared for.
