✨ Holiday Party Recap! ✨

We spent the evening at the beautiful Gibson Manor for our holiday party, where we enjoyed a great dinner together and had the chance to tour the entire home. We explored all five floors and even learned about the areas of the house that were part of the Underground Railroad.

Such a meaningful and memorable night spent together!

Meet Sarah Miller, Executive Director of Women’s Services, Inc. 💼
Sarah is dedicated to creating safer, stronger communities by supporting individuals and families in need. She focuses on building trust, promoting education, and helping others find the resources to move forward with confidence.
Sarah first connected with BPW after winning a free membership at the Women in Business Expo — and what made her stay were the friendships she built and the strong sense of purpose she found within the organization. 💛
✨ “Being part of an organization that’s been empowering women for nearly a century reminds me that the work we do today continues the legacy of those who came before us.”
A former BPW President, Sarah has made a lasting impact through her involvement. She has co-chaired Judith’s Jig for the past three years and served on the Empowerment and Membership Committees, helping plan the upcoming Personal and Professional Development Workshop in January. 🙌
Her advice for anyone thinking about joining BPW says it best:
💬 “This is a great outlet to get involved in a way that matches your strengths and your purpose. There’s something for everyone at BPW.”

💜 November Meeting Recap! 💜

This week, our members proudly wore purple in honor of Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month — a powerful show of strength, hope, and unity. 💪💜

A heartfelt thank you to Erin, who shared her personal connection to this cause and reminded us how important it is to support and uplift those impacted. 💕

We were also inspired by Heather Strauch, Functional Health Practitioner and founder of Strong Foundations Wellness, who shared valuable insights on navigating hormone changes with balance and confidence. 🌿✨

And a very warm welcome to our newest member, Karen Cruley! 🎉 We’re so excited to have you as part of our BPW family. 💫

Meet Diana Fesenmyer, a retired 35-year High School Math Teacher, PASR Region 9 Director, and BPW/PA Region 1 Director! ✏️📚
With over 52 years of BPW membership, Diana embodies dedication, leadership, and lifelong learning. Her BPW journey began in college during a pivotal time for women’s rights. After teaching in New York, she returned to Pennsylvania and rejoined BPW/PA — quickly becoming active at every level, connecting with strong women who inspired her to grow and lead. 💛
She’s represented BPW/PA at Women in Government Seminars in Washington, D.C., visited Women’s Rights Museums in New York and Pennsylvania, and held leadership roles as President, Vice President, and Treasurer of the Cranberry Area Educational Association. Today, she continues her service as Co-President of the Venango Chapter of PASR and PASR Region 9 Director, supporting retired educators across 10 counties. 🌟
Diana’s wisdom runs deep:
✨ “There are many ways to solve a math problem — and many ways to solve a problem in life. Never stop looking for new solutions. Change is often the easiest way forward.”
A lifelong traveler, she’s visited 48 states and plans to complete all 50 soon. Her guiding belief?
💛 “Kindness opens more doors and solves more problems than anger. No one is perfect, so simply ask for forgiveness.”
