👏 Congratulations to our re-elected board members:
Sean Coyle, Charlie Hawthorne, Klete Kutrovac, Lauren Leeper, Anthony Santaguida, and Nick Santora — all returning for another 2-year term!

They join returning board members Brian Bozarth, Tim Creahan, Zak DiGorio, Zach Gray, and Matt Harmon as we head into another exciting season of Rebellion hockey.

Behind the scenes, being a board member means countless volunteer hours, late nights, and a commitment to keeping our organization moving forward for every player and family in the club. We truly appreciate everyone who steps up to help make the Rebellion a great place for our athletes to learn, grow, and compete.

🏒 South Pittsburgh Rebellion Board Elections – This Wednesday, May 27 🏒

Current Rebellion families and coaches — your voice matters!

Board Elections for the 2026–2027 season will be held:

📅 Wednesday, May 27
⏰ 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM
📍 Printscape Arena – Rebellion Room

To find it: enter through the lower lobby, head toward the stairs to Bubba’s, enter the Shane Clifford Goalie School doorway, and turn left.

🗳 Voting Details:
• Open to current Rebellion families & coaches
• $5 per voting attendee
• Sign-in required at entry (Player Name, Team, Voting Family Member Name)
• Receive your ballot after check-in
• Vote anytime during the 4–7 PM window — no need to stay afterward

This year, candidate speeches will not be held. Instead, candidate bios are available online for review before voting.

🏒 South Pittsburgh Rebellion is seeking dedicated volunteers to help shape the future of our organization!

As we prepare for the 2026/2027 season, we have 6 Board positions open for election.

Charlie Hawthorne - Registrar/SafeSport Coordinator
Klete Kutrovac - Director of Player Development
Lauren Leeper - Director of Off Ice Operations
Anthony Santaguida - Treasurer
Nick Santora - Equipment Manager

These members have terms that are finishing up and are re-running. Anyone else who has a player in the organization is welcome to run. Serving on the Board is a meaningful way to support our players, families, and the continued growth of South Pittsburgh Hockey Club.

🏒 Big News for Rebellion Hockey! 🏒

We’re excited to announce that Matt Ward has been named our 8U ADM Coordinator!

Matt brings a tremendous hockey background—including collegiate play and a national championship—as well as a strong passion for coaching and player development. He’s already been a familiar face within the Rebellion community, working with athletes across multiple sports.

In this role, Matt will help lead and grow our Mite program using USA Hockey’s ADM model—focusing on skill development, station-based practices, and creating a fun, positive environment for our youngest players.

We’re thrilled to have Matt helping shape the future of Rebellion Hockey!
