This month, we met at the park in Carlton and ordered our drinks and pastries from across the street at Common Grounds Espresso.

We enjoyed the beautiful day catching up with old friends, meeting new ones, and chatting about everything from upcoming appointments and recent vacations to family updates and all the little things in between. 🩷

What’s inside our Welcome Care Package? This is the first care package many individuals receive when they are newly connected with With Courage, and every item is chosen with care, comfort, and real-life needs in mind. 💗

Inside, you’ll find practical support like gas, grocery, and coffee gift cards, along with cozy socks, a soft blanket, an insulated water bottle, thank-you cards and stamps, a journal, coloring book, colored pencils, and small self-care items like lotion, lip balm, and hand sanitizer. Whether someone uses the tote for appointments, the journal for notes and feelings, the water bottle during treatment, or the thank-you cards to send love back to the people showing up for them, each piece is meant to offer a little comfort and support during a difficult season.

We also love that so many of these items are sourced from local businesses and makers in McMinnville, Newberg, Carlton, and throughout Yamhill County. All our care packages are rooted in community from start to finish.
