• Share of McLean is an all-volunteer, community-based nonprofit that teams with individual donors and partner organizations to assist our neighbors who face food insecurity, economic hardships or related challenges Food Pantry and Clothing Rooms are open every Wednesday and Saturday from 9:30am-12:00 noon (except holidays) in donated space at the McLean Baptist Church, 1367 Chain Bridge Rd., McLean, VA 22101.

Stuff the Bus is here! Join us at the McLean Government Center, 1437 Balls Hill Road on Saturday, September 19h, from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm and help support Share of McLean! Every item collected will go directly to Share’s food pantry to help provide groceries for local families in need.

The congregation at Lewinsville Presbyterian Church recently celebrated their “Christmas in July” project by collecting much-needed school supplies for Share’s children. Thanks to their generosity, local kids will have the supplies they need to head back to school feeling prepared and confident.

Thank you to two amazing Langley HS teens from United Hearts for their generosity! They hosted a bake sale to raise funds and collected personal hygiene kits, diapers and toys for Share’s clients. We love their enthusiasm and passion for making our community a little brighter!

A big thank you to Blue Star Families for dropping off several boxes loaded with pantry staples, hygiene products, and fun gifts for the kids! Your generosity makes a huge difference for local families!

Huge thanks to the Capital One and teambuilding.com teams for coming together to support our community! Thanks to their corporate team-building event, they packed over 175 complete pasta dinner kits and delivered them to Share. Each kit included everything needed for a hot meal, including pasta, tomato paste, spaghetti sauce seasoning, chicken, and parmesan cheese. What a great way for teams to come together in support of our community!

The results are in! Share's Gift Card Tree at the McLean Giant was a wonderful success! A huge thank you to all our neighbors who stopped by the tree this month to purchase a gift card. Your generosity will help support local families and neighbors in need. We were thrilled with the response and hope to make the Gift Card Tree in July an ongoing tradition. And a special shout out to Abbey for organizing this fantastic event!🎄

Please swap those giant black trash bags for standard tall white kitchen bags (13 gallons).
While our amazing volunteers have giant hearts, lifting those massive, heavy black bags is getting a bit too heroic for our backs!
Help us keep things light and liftable. Your spine (and ours) will thank you! 🙏

*Donations in the standard kitchen bags can be dropped off in the two large sheds located outside Door #8 of the McLean Baptist Church, 1367 Chain Bridge Road.
