Dana Hall, Agriculture Educator, Attends CASE Training Through Scholarship from Nebraska FFA Foundation and Nebraska Soybean Association
LINCOLN, Nebraska – Dana Hall, an agriculture educator at McCool Junction Public Schools, recently completed a STEM-based CASE (Curriculum for Agricultural Science Education) training focused on Animal Health/Veterinary Science.
The CASE Animal Health/Veterinary Science (AHVS) BriefCASE training provided agricultural educators with curriculum, hands-on activities, laboratory experiences, and instructional resources designed to strengthen student learning in animal health and veterinary science.
Hall attended the training through a scholarship provided by the Nebraska FFA Foundation and funded by the Nebraska Soybean Association. During the upcoming school year, Hall plans to implement the CASE curriculum in her classroom, utilizing the hands-on labs and lessons she experienced during the training.
Hall is excited to bring this new curriculum to her students and provide engaging, hands-on learning experiences that strengthen their understanding of animal health, veterinary science, and careers in agriculture.
“I am grateful to the Nebraska FFA Foundation and the Nebraska Soybean Association for providing funding that allowed agriculture educators like me to attend such an outstanding training,” said Hall. “I’m excited to bring back new ideas and hands-on learning opportunities for my students in animal health and veterinary science.”
The CASE curriculum is designed to provide agriculture educators with inquiry-based, STEM-focused instruction that prepares students for careers and further education in agriculture and related fields.
