Saturday was our official moving day.

Our new location at 415 5th Ave, along Hwy 6, is 134’ x 60’ allowing us plenty of space for all of our trucks, ambulance, and equipment. It also has a meeting room, training area and plenty of storage.

Saturday evening, we hosted a family gathering for current and past department members.

Thank you to the community, and friends of the fire department, for all of your support!

Today is 𝐕𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐫 𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐠𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐃𝐚𝐲, and we want to take a moment to recognize the incredible men and women of the Fairmont Volunteer Fire & Rescue Department.

You are the ones who drop everything when the call comes in. Day or night, in all conditions, you show up ready to serve, protect, and support this community. Your commitment doesn’t go unnoticed — even if recognition is never the reason you do it.

We know you don’t do this for the thank yous, the posts, or the spotlight. You do it because you care about your neighbors and the place you call home.

Still, today, we’re saying it anyway: 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐤 𝐲𝐨𝐮.

𝐓𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐭𝐬 𝐨𝐧 𝐬𝐚𝐥𝐞 and can be purchased from any member of the department.

You can also purchase by sending $30 per ticket via Venmo to -fire. In the Venmo payment comments, please list your first and last name and the number of tickets you are purchasing. For example, if I want four tickets I would pay $120 and state "John Doe - 4" in the comments.
