So we got these in the mail the other day. I strongly recommend all interested parties attend the commissioners hearing at 6pm on the 17th at the Holthus convention center. Executives and investors in Omaha and other farther flung places “strongly believe” that renewables have a place on “our” farms and ranches in York county. Specifically between McCool and Lushton. Why don’t they “strongly believe” there is a place for them in Douglas and/or Sarpy counties? 🤔🤷‍♂️ Come to the meeting and say your piece…Our voices count!

The McCool Junction Memorial Day observance is Monday May 29th at 10 AM at the McCool Greenwood Cemetery. Honors are provided by the American Legion Ronald Porter Post 341. There will be a guest speaker. Please mark your calendars and inform anyone that doesn’t have Facebook. The honored Veteran is Rollie Hall and a fellowship will be held afterwords at the McCool town hall.

Memorial Day May 30, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. join McCool Junction Ronald Porter Post 341of the American Legion as we honor those veterans who paid the ultimate sacrifice. We will be honored to hear from Command Chief Warrant Officer (CWO5) Steve Kilgore. We will also lay a wreath on the grave of an honored veteran. This years memorial will take place at Pleasant Ridge Cemetary on Road Three southeast of McCool Junction, NE.

McCool American legion will be honoring veterans on memorial day. We will perform a short service at the Lushton, McCool, McCool Greenwood and Pleasant Ridge cemetery's. The final service will be at Pleasant Ridge. We will not have a key note speaker but will place the wreath on the honored veterans grave and will sound the salute. That will be done at 10:30 am on memorial day. We will not have fellowship afterwords in the town hall due to prudent measures taken for covid19 measures. If you'd like to attend the service at Pleasant Ridge you're welcome, but we must insist that anyone attending observe social distancing measures. Thank you,

There will be a veterans day observance at the McCool gym on Monday 11 November at 0900. There will be a guest speaker and coffee and rolls after the observance. Come and show our younglings that there are veterans all around them in their community.
