What an incredible day at the Juneteenth Festival hosted by Speaker of the House Emanuel ‘Chris’ Welch and the Democratic Party of Proviso!

The Maywood Chamber of Commerce was proud to be present, connect with residents, business owners, community leaders, and families from across the region as we celebrated freedom, culture, and community.

We were excited to see so many people stop by our table, learn about the Chamber, and sign up for more information about membership, programs, events, and opportunities to support local businesses.

This was a tremendous success and a great opportunity to represent the Maywood community while continuing to build relationships that strengthen our local economy and neighborhoods.

🤝 Thank You, Triton College!

The Maywood Chamber of Commerce extends its sincere gratitude to the President of Triton College, the Deans, faculty, staff, students, business leaders, banking partners, and elected officials who participated in today’s tour and discussion highlighting the college’s impactful programs.

We were honored to learn more about Triton’s outstanding Nursing, Barbering, and Cosmetology programs and the important role they play in preparing students for successful careers while meeting the workforce needs of our communities.

Strong partnerships between education, business, government, and community organizations are essential to creating opportunities for residents and building a stronger local economy. Monday, Chamber Connect took us somewhere special — the Maywood Public Library District
