Hour House BASE Build awareness of substance use and associated risks and/or risk and protective factors. Support capacity of regional and community groups.

The Build, Amplify, Support, Empower (BASE) Program aims to provide tailored support and intervention to address the pressing needs of youth in Coles and Douglas Counties to prevent, delay, and reduce substance use among youth and emerging adults. Amplify access to evidence-informed community supports or to recovery and treatment. Empower youth and their families, community members and school empl

oyees, or other individuals who engage with youth or communities

Through collaborative efforts and a focus on evidence-based practices, we are committed to combating the opioid crisis and safeguarding the well-being of our community's youth. Funding provided in whole or in part by the Illinois Department of Human Services Division of Behavioral Health & Recovery through the Opioid Remediation Trust Fund or the Cannabis Regulation and Tax Act. The Regional Care Coordination Agency (RCCA) is administered by Advocates for Human Potential, Inc., as authorized by CSFA 444-26-3078.

Looking for a fun, creative, and positive activity for teens this summer? Join the Hour House BASE Team for a special Plant Kindness workshop where creativity meets community πŸ’œ

Participants will learn how to make their own origami flower to share as a small act of kindness while connecting with others in a welcoming environment. All supplies are provided, and the event is completely FREE!
