Tonight’s Grieving Session was GOOD. ❤️‍🩹

We laughed. We cried. We shared. And most importantly, we showed up for ourselves and for one another.

One thing we were reminded of tonight is that no matter what curveball life throws our way, we can always step back into the batter’s box and try again. ⚾️

Grief doesn’t only come from losing someone we love. We can grieve the loss of a job, a relationship or marriage, changes in our bodies and health, a season of life, or simply the life we thought we would have. Grief looks different for everyone, and that’s okay.

We also learned that it’s okay not to be okay.
It’s okay to say NO—that’s part of self-care.
It’s okay to cry.
It’s okay to laugh again.
And it’s okay to need a community where you can talk, share, and simply BE.

To everyone who came tonight, shared your heart, shed tears, laughed, listened, or simply sat in the room—you should be proud of yourself. You showed up for YOU. ❤️

And when life throws another curveball, remember: you can get back in the box.

We’re doing it again next month, so come back and bring a friend. There is room for you here.

We heal together. ❤️‍🩹
We grow together.
And together, we get back in the box. ⚾️

If you want to join us tomorrow as we pray, laugh, cry, and comfort one another. Come on and hang out with The Blueprint Impact Foundation for a good time where we support each other without judgment, a safe space as we continue to heal.
Also you can come in and do some painting for coping. I have paint brushes available! See you all tomorrow!

What joy it brings to God that brethren dwell in unity! And what joy it brings to Ashley Jefferson and myself to give our brother, Salvador Burman Sr., his flowers while he's alive. We celebrate him for being home for 4 year after serving 23 years straight.

Refuge Temple Ministries will host a free community meal on Saturday, Sept. 12, at noon.

The community food outreach event will be held at 205 Clearview Drive in Martinsville.

The meal is open to everyone and will be served while supplies last.
