The Rustic Mechanicals, West Virginia’s Shakespeare troupe, will bring William Shakespeare’s magical comedy A Midsummer Night’s Dream to the auditorium at Spring Mills High School on Saturday, September 19. The performance will begin at 7:00 p.m.

In celebration of student achievement in scholastic theatre, all inducted International Thespian Society members across Berkeley County Schools will receive free admission to the performance. Advance tickets for the general public are available for $17 online, and tickets purchased at the door on the evening of the performance will be $25. Tickets: https://tinyurl.com/RMatSMHS

Filled with romantic entanglements, supernatural mischief, and comedic confusion, A Midsummer Night’s Dream follows four young lovers and a troupe of amateur actors who stray into an enchanted forest ruled by whimsical fairies. The Rustic Mechanicals’ dynamic, fast-paced staging brings Shakespeare’s celebrated language to life through energetic physical comedy and accessible storytelling.

"Supporting student artists and student theatre across West Virginia is a cornerstone of our tour," said Jason A. Young, Producing Artistic Director of The Rustic Mechanicals. "Partnering with Spring Mills High School to welcome Berkeley County’s inducted Thespians for free allows us to honor their commitment to the craft while bringing an engaging evening of classical theatre to the Martinsburg community."

Hey, everybody. This is the department’s Amazon list here for the year. If you or someone you know would like to support the Spring Mills Theatre Department with any of these purchases, we’d greatly appreciate. We function on a budget of $0 every year, so any way you can help allows us to spend ticket sales and fundraisers entirely on our next show. We are also always looking for grants to purchase more expensive equipment; anyone who is aware of any grants or a rich grandmother who wants to endow a whole group of awesome kiddos, please let us know.
