Testimony Tuesday. On April 16, we held our first Awareness Event, titled IF YOU ONLY KNEW...how we Create a Smile, Grow Confidence and Change Lives. We were blessed to have over 200 community members join us. It was an amazing opportunity for us to share testimonies from a parent, Tracey Rohrbaugh, an instructor, Craig Eicher, a pasted participant, Ben Burdick, our event sponsor, Dena Morgan. All sharing how HwH has touched and change their lives. Sandy Hamilton shared the need for strong leadership. Carol Young from Healing Strides shared the new studies that validate what we already knew and that is how the horses transforms lives. I had the opportunity to take us down memory lane and then into our future. We recognized and honored Jay & Valarie Burks as our Philanthropist of the Year, Janesa Smith and Gantt's Excavating & Contractor as our Corporate Sponsor of the Year and Stacie Bowman Rohn and the The Boys & Girls Club of the Eastern Panhandle as our Non-Profit Sponsor of the Year.
