An open and affirming (ONA) congregation of the United Church of Christ faithfully living out the Good News of Jesus Christ since 1666.

Our church family is a growing, striving and thriving group of people. We are a family of those who are young and young at heart, industrious, creative, energetic, seeking, searching and longing. We are old in tradition and history, respectful, secure, diligent, uncertain about the future and asking God for guidance.

The story of our and that of 39 other congregations from Southern New England Conference, United Church of Christ, Maine Conference United Church of Christ and First Congregational Church of Houston, UCC help to Ukrainian refugees in 2022 and 2023 has been recognized in Poland by Diakonia Kościoła Ewangelicko-Augsburskiego w RP - Diakonia Polska. Its in Polish - but try to read it. In any case: a thank you to You and to GOD be praise and glory.

Regardless of the political situation - serving our poorer sisters and brothers in need is our Christian vocation and duty. The First Church in Marlborough Wamsers showed up again to help with the distribution at Worcester Area Mission Society. To God be praise and glory!

A great reflection for from the Stillspeaking Daily Devotional

The church does not need another generation committed to preserving its image. It needs people willing to ask: What must change so that love can live here?

Our own Kaz put together an online exhibition for the Congregational Library & Archives on immigration and Congregationalism. Check it out - there may be a quiz on it! 😉

Painting the Pumpkin yesterday we raised almost $200 for charity! And it was fun too! Thank you Laura Wilson & Sky Donovan for making sure the kids did not paint each other too!
