Welcome Scouting America. So happy to have our girls and everyone else included in this new name change.

The Boy Scouts of America is changing its name for the first time in its 114-year history. The Texas-based organization is announcing at its annual meeting in Florida on Tuesday that it will become Scouting America.

Last weekend 8 of our scouts spent the weekend on a farm doing hands on works with chickens, goats, oxen, sheep and more. They used teamwork and many other skills taught in the BSA program to complete all the farm chores thet had for the day. All 8 girls earned their Animal Science merit badge.

We're joining in on the madness this March with our own Yawgoog food bracket! The first round will happen over the course of this week, with each matchup being posted on our story and decided by you! Make sure to fill out a bracket with your guesses, vote, and check in at the end of the week to see who moves on to the next round!

Celebrating 5 amazing years of Scouts BSA's female Scouts and Troops. We are so proud of all of you, and your incredible showcasing of diversity, capabilities, and tremendous motivation! From camping and outdoor adventures to leadership and community service, these leaders continue to break barriers, and build strong communities both inside and out of Scouting!

Scouting is about so much more than just ranks and badges. These girls are forming friendships that will last a lifetime. We had 9 girls playing a screen free board game. This helped develop their communication, logic and team building skills. Several girls also worked on a conservation project for Lone Tree Summer Camp where we spent the weekend. That project was a requirement for the Eagle required camping meit badge.

Great day working towards ranks and the cooking merit badge during today's dutch oven cookoff. Troop 26 took home 2nd place in the "dinners" category, and Troop 41 Marlborough brought home several awards too.
