🚒 The Boston Fire Prevention Education Unit and our Aerial Drill Team invite you and your loved ones to Castle Island in South Boston for Fire Prevention Week on October 10, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.!

Walk through our virtual bouncy house, ask fire safety questions, and watch the Aerial Drill Team perform at 11:00 a.m.

🎟️ We’re raffling off THREE plug-in carbon monoxide (CO) alarms! CO is a poisonous gas you cannot see or smell. Before staying at a hotel, vacation rental, or Airbnb, ask whether working CO alarms are installed. Make CO safety part of your travel plans!

Update: The truck has found a new home.

MMike Bellhas an antique fire truck that he’s looking to donate to someone that may want to restore. It’s a 1932 Dodge brothers, has no engine or transmission. Please let me know asap as it needs to move by Sept 14.
