Understanding that here, people are defined by what they're building - not a diagnosis.

Meet the many young adults here at Novus that are finding their footing, gaining real experience, building real confidence, and being part of an incredibly supportive team.

For young adults navigating mental challenges, opportunity can feel out of reach. We're working to change that. Every day here is a chance to grow a skill, build a resume, and discover what "capable" really looks like.

Did you know Novus supports our parent members all year long?

From back-to-school needs and holiday assistance to support around school and medical meetings, we’re here for families through the moments that can feel overwhelming and the ones that can feel unbearable.

Because being a parent is hard. And being a parent living with a long-standing mental health challenge can make the hard days even harder.

Summer can be especially challenging. Kids are out of school. Work hours may be reduced. Expenses go up. Then September arrives, bringing backpacks, sneakers, school supplies, clothes, and all the costs of the new school year.

This year, we’re asking our community to help us make that transition a little easier.

We're thrilled to celebrate one of our very own! 💚

Congratulations to our incredible volunteer, Doug, on being named the Volunteer of the Year by the Providers' Council Awards of Excellence!

This honor recognizes Doug's unwavering commitment to the human services community and the countless ways he has supported Novus and our members. Nominated by our own Lynn Fanale, this award is a reflection of the compassion, generosity, and dedication Doug brings to everything he does.

When our Clubhouse community gathered to surprise Doug with the news, his response perfectly captured why he is so deserving of this recognition:

"Whatever you all say you get from me, I get back a thousand times over."

That simple sentiment says it all. Doug reminds us that volunteering isn't just about giving. It's about building relationships, finding purpose, and creating a community where everyone is enriched.
