Mayor Absher has officially declared this week K-Kids Week in 🎉
Sponsored by Marion Kiwanis, K-Kids clubs encourage young members to engage in service projects, develop leadership skills, and make a positive impact in their schools and neighborhoods.
Kiwanis International, the parent organization, is a global community of clubs, members, and partners dedicated to improving the lives of children—one community at a time. From organizing service projects to supporting educational initiatives, Kiwanis clubs work tirelessly to bring positive change and create a brighter future for youth around the world.
We got to celebrate with Washington Elementary K-Kids members today! Each of our elementary schools has their own club! You might even spot a few of these Washington Wildcat K-Kid Club members helping with the Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast 🥞
