Every era has its defining moments, and you were part of one!

More than 400 of you came home for Pioneer Eras, and the weekend opened with the largest gift in Marietta's history. The Class of 1976 raised $60,040 for its 50th Reunion, beating its goal by more than $10,000. And The Long Blue Line showed up all weekend long.

The official Homecoming 2026 album is up now, with more photos being added this week. Find yourself, tag your classmates, and drop your own favorite shots in the comments.

Save the date: Homecoming 2027 is October 21-24.

We’ve heard from many of you about Dorothy Webster Hall, and we understand why. For generations of Pioneers, it was home, and the memories made there remain an important part of Marietta’s story.

The decision about its future was not made hastily. Professional assessments of the 1870 building identified a deteriorating sandstone foundation and separation of the front facade from the building. College leadership and the Board of Trustees walked through the structure before any decision was made, and determined that even with significant investment, its physical constraints would limit the accessible, high-quality residential experience today’s students need.

Four decades of leadership, service, and impact! Alumni, faculty, former faculty, administrators, and friends gathered in the DBRC to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Marietta College’s McDonough Leadership Program.

Dr. Michael Moffitt ’91 shared a terrific history of the program, while Ashley Wollam ’08 delivered the keynote address. Meredith Storey ’12 was also recognized as an honorary McDonough Leadership Scholar, capping off a big day after being named Outstanding Young Alumna that morning. The celebration honored the people and experiences that have shaped generations of leaders, and the bright future still to come.

Congratulations to the McDonough Leadership Program on 40 remarkable years!

McDonough Scholars, stay connected with the program and future events by following McDonough Center for Leadership & Business at Marietta College

Pioneers, you have until Friday.

That's the last day to register for the 22nd Annual Alumni Golf Outing on Nov. 6. Text your old teammates, call your roommate from junior year, and grab a spot before the 36-team field fills up.

Not a golfer? Come anyway. Guests can attend at no charge, and it's one of the easiest ways to reconnect with Marietta people in Texas.
