What a great last weekend of the season on Saturday!! So many great swims and soooo much improvement!! It was awesome! Out of 47 individual swims, 36 of those were improved times (76%). Also, congratulations to Lawson Vigneron on winning the 10-U High Point award!

Here is some information about the North Hills meet tonight.

The meet is at North Hills in Parkersburg. The physical address of the facility is: 103 Park View Dr, North Hills, WV 26104

Our warm-ups are at 5:45 pm with the meet starting at 6:00 pm. Please arrive at the pool between 5:15-5:30 pm

Heat sheets have been emailed. We will also have a few printed out tonight as well.

Couple of things, if you are registered you will have received an email to declare for the meet tomorrow night. Just select yes if your swimmers are participating and no if you are not.

If you want to swim in the meet but haven't registered yet, please do so before 5:00 pm today I will send out a last email asking you to declare for the meet after 5:00 today.

If you can't make the meet and haven't registered yet . . . whatcha waiting for? Sign up this week to be on our email and text list so you can receive notifications about practices. With a lot of rain anticipated in the forecast being registered guarantees that you will get the latest Marlins news!

🚨🚨2025 Schedule! 🚨🚨 Tuesday meets will be in the evenings with a 6:00 or 6:30 pm start time. Saturdays will be in the morning.

In order to be able to get into the meet on Tuesday I will need swim families to register by Sunday. https://www.gomotionapp.com/team/ymca-5103/page/team-registration

I need families to register so that you will receive communications from me and information about meets.

We send out an email to all of the parents for each meet and you just need to follow the instructions to let us know if you will or will NOT be attending.

Such a fun and great first day of practice!! Pool was a perfect temp. NO BLUE LIPS. LOL. So many familiar faces and just as many new faces! So excited for the week. If you are looking for a fun activity for your kids this summer, give the Marlins a try. Try it and like it days all week!!

Marietta Marlins Kick Off Summer Swim Season on June 9

The Marietta Marlins are ready to make a splash this summer! Our competitive swim team invites swimmers of all ages and abilities to join us for a season of fun, fitness, and camaraderie in the pool. Practices begin on Monday, June 9, at the Marietta Country Club, but you don’t have to be a club member to dive in with us.

Practice Schedule:

High School Swimmers: 7:00 AM – 8:00 AM

Younger Swimmers: 8:00 AM – 9:00 AM

To make joining easier, we’re offering a special “Try It and Like It” week from June 9-13. This program allows swimmers to attend practices and experience the Marlins’ team environment before committing to the full season. Whether your child is new to competitive swimming or a seasoned athlete, this is the perfect opportunity to see what the Marlins are all about.

The Marietta Marlins provide a supportive and encouraging environment for swimmers to improve their skills, build confidence, and enjoy the rewards of teamwork. We’re thrilled to welcome both returning and new faces to the pool this summer.

Summer Swim is a great activity for children of all ages! We are starting on June 9 at the Marietta Country Club for all swimmers. We have FREE Try it and Like it sessions from 8:00 am-9:00 am, June 9-13. Practices are conducted by experienced college swimmers that were once Marlins! Come to one session or come all week! We would love to see you. Be a Summer Marlin!
