BIG ANNOUNCEMENT

We are so grateful for every woman who has joined us, shared with us, prayed with us, and helped make The Gathering Maricopa what it is today.

Our team has been working hard on some exciting changes, including improving our social media presence and bringing back our daily encouragement posts for women in our community.

As many of you know, the founder of The Gathering Maricopa, Sarah, is currently pregnant with their second miracle baby. As her family prepares to welcome their little one this fall, we want to create space for rest, family time, and support during this special season. Even so, Sarah wants to continue to pour into this ministry because she truly believes in the impact this group is making in our community but knows the time will come to step away for a few short months to welcome their baby.

At the same time, we always want to listen to feedback from the women who attend. One of the biggest things we hear is that many of you wish there was more time to connect and talk after gatherings.

Because of that, June will be our final Gathering at Northern Lights for 2026. As usual, we will take July off, but beginning in August, September, and October, we are excited to introduce The Gathering Dinners.

Instead of meeting in the traditional format, we will gather at Barros Pizza 21101 N John Wayne Pkwy, Maricopa, AZ 85139 (Let the hostess know you are with The Gathering) August 6th, September 3rd, & October 1st- for intentional connection, conversation, encouragement, and community.

Founded in 2024 by women from neighboring churches, The Gathering was created after noticing a common need—so many women longing for connection, yet no shared space where women from different walks of life, beliefs, and backgrounds could truly come together. We believe you have something in common with every woman you meet—you just need the right space to discover it and let a friendship begin.

Held at Northern Lights Therapy, The Gathering exists to create meaningful connection in a safe, welcoming environment. We welcome women of all beliefs, backgrounds, and life stages—from high school and beyond. Each month includes a themed evening with light snacks, moments of reflection and encouragement, engaging activities, and thoughtful conversation.

This is a space where you don’t have to have it all together—just show up.
