Juneteenth is a time to honor freedom, recognize the resilience and contributions of African Americans, and reflect on our shared history.
We invite our community to celebrate at the Juneteenth Freedom Day Event tomorrow, Saturday, June 20, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Westside Park in Marble Falls. The event will feature culture, community, food, games, and fellowship.
Donations are also being accepted for permanent signage at the African American Museum. For more information or to contribute, please contact Bessie Jackson at 830-385-2143.
Thank you St. Frederick's Baptist Church for bringing our community together in celebration, education, and fellowship.
Please note that HLFCC outreach offices will be closed in observance of Juneteenth. However, our 24/7 hotline and advocates remain available to provide support and assistance to those in need.
