We will begin offering GED classes at the Kingsland library, 6:00-8:00, on Thursdays. Enter in the back of the building from the Davis St. parking lot.

Until further notice, we will no longer have evening GED classes. Afternoon classes in Burnet will begin again Mondays, 1:00-3:00, at the BCSD Parent Resource Center. For individual tutoring call us at 512-756-7337.

Literacy Highland Lakes is a 501(c)(3) volunteer-based non-profit providing free classes and free tutoring (specifically for GED & citizenship prep) for adults in the Highland Lakes area.

During the summer months, we will only be holding ged classes if a student/students let us know at least an hour ahead of time that they are planning to attend.

Monday, 1:00-3:00, BCSD Parent Resource Center in Burnet
Tuesday, 6:00-8:00, Highland Lakes United Methodist Church in Buchanan Dam
Thursday, 7:00-8:00, Trinity Episcopal Church in Marble Falls.
Just come to class & we’ll mentor you through the process of preparing for the subject area tests.

For the month of August, we will not be having GED classes in Kingsland and Marble Falls. We will resume 9/6 in Kingsland and 9/8 in Marble Falls.

GED classes will continue throughout the summer at our Kingsland (Buchanan Dam) and Marble Falls locations. 6:00-8:00 PM, Tues, Highland Lakes United Methodist Church, Buchanan Dam; 6:00-8:00, Thurs, Trinity Episcopal Church, Marble Falls. Monday afternoon classes in Burnet will not be held after school is out for the summer, however, individual arrangements can be made by calling us at 512-756-7337.
