Today, our Prevention Team had the opportunity to visit Cedar Lodge in Buchanan Dam to begin building a partnership with the women in their recovery program.

We look forward to working alongside these women, listening to their voices, and offering skills and resources that support their goals, growth, and thrive.

Recently, several survivors have reached out to HLFCC wanting to share their stories and experiences. We are honored by the trust it takes to do that.

If you are a survivor and feel ready to share your story, we would be honored to hear from you. Whether you choose to share your name or remain anonymous, your voice can help others feel less alone and remind them that there is hope beyond abuse.

We currently have moms waiting for toddler beds, and we need 5 gray toddler beds to help meet the need. 🤍

You can purchase a bed through the Amazon link below and have it shipped directly to the center, or purchase one yourself and deliver it to our Marble Falls or Kingsland location during business hours.

When we laugh at jokes about sexual assault, we risk normalizing something that should never be normalized.

Instead, let’s normalize calling it out, cutting the joke off, and making it clear that sexual assault should never be brushed off as humor.
