🎉 Congratulations to our Bank Credit Analyst students on approaching the end of their educational journey!

This week, these dedicated students are completing their last class, submitting their final project and taking their BCA test. It's not over yet, but we are confident they will pass with flying colors. We are so proud of the diligence and commitment they have shown over the past 30 weeks while also managing work and life.

A special thank you to Mary Rist and the incredible staff at Texas Tech-Marble Falls, for walking alongside these students throughout their learning journey. Your instruction, encouragement, and partnership have made a lasting impact.

While Workforce Network, Inc. is not continuing to offer our Banking and Finance program, we remain so grateful for our continued partnership with Texas Tech. Anyone interested in learning more about the finance programs that are offered is encouraged to reach out to Texas Tech directly.

✨ A strong start for future nurses! ✨

Last week, 14 students officially kicked off Workforce Network's Nursing PREP program!

Nursing prerequisites are challenging, especially for adult learners who may be returning to the classroom after years away. But needing a refresher does not mean someone is behind; it means they are brave enough to begin, prepared enough to build a strong foundation, and committed enough to keep moving toward their future.

Our PREP program was created to help individuals overcome barriers to nursing school by offering support, structure, and encouragement along the way. We are so proud of these future RNs for taking the first step toward a career that will make a difference in the lives of others.

And good news: there is still space available in our LVN PREP class!

🚛 Our Summer CDL Class is officially underway! 🚛

We are "on the road again" with Steve, one of our favorite ATDS instructors, and another round of students who are ready to work hard, build new skills, and take the next step toward a strong career in the skilled trades.

Programs like this do not happen without strong partnerships. This class comes together because multiple partners are working toward the same goal: helping local residents build skills and move into strong careers.

As May comes to a close, we’re reflecting with gratitude on National Nurses Week, National Hospital Week, and National Skilled Nursing Care Week — and giving one final round of applause to the healthcare professionals who show up every day to care for our communities in so many meaningful ways. 👏🩺

What better way to wrap up a month of celebration than by sharing our May success story: "More Than a Dream: Veronica Eriksen’s Story".

🎉 CONGRATULATIONS to our newest Level 2 Plumbing graduates who earned their Residential Certification! 🔧

These students have worked hard to build a strong foundation for their futures — balancing full-time work as plumbing apprentices while showing up for rigorous night classes. That kind of commitment takes grit, determination, and a real belief in what’s possible.

We also want to give a very special shoutout to our plumbing instructor, Tim Kinsey! This was Tim’s first year instructing with Workforce Network, and he went above and beyond for our students — including making the commute all the way from Buda to Marble Falls. Tim is patient, kind, and deeply committed to helping students learn, grow, and succeed. Thank you, Tim, for sharing your knowledge, your time, and your heart with Workforce Network.
