Keys AHEC is a non-profit organization based in Monroe County, FL that provides no cost medical and low cost dental care to the students of Monroe County School District. Collectively both programs provide over 10,000 patient visits and 72,000 service
s annually. Most families we serve are from low to moderate income homes where affordable healthcare is not available to them. Keys AHEC is dedicated to ensuring these children have access to quality healthcare. Along with our medical and dental clinics, we also provide health professional education and support, tobacco cessation and community health programs addressing local health care issues. The Florida AHEC Network has, over this past decade, addressed the primary health care needs of Florida's most vulnerable populations through a series of innovative strategies designed to:
