BUILD PARTNER SPOTLIGHT
D'Asign Source, the Florida Keys Coastal Home Experts for over 60 years, have been a monumental partner of Habitat since 2008. Their most recent act of generosity came through their participation in the 2026 Florida Corporate Community Tax Credit Program, resulting in a $200,000 donation earmarked for our 105th Street build. In the past 18 years, D'Asign Source has been a beacon of support, contributing over $800,000 to our organization. We are profoundly blessed and thankful for this incredible partnership that has helped us make a difference in the lives of our hard working island neighbors. Visit www.DAsignSource.com to learn more about this incredible, family-owned company that's making a lasting impact on our community. D'Asign Source
In addition to celebrating this amazing donation, Anthony D'Ascanio found a golden shovel used at the groundbreaking of our 2002 build which happened to be the home of Cindy McKnight. It was truly a wonderful moment of memories.

Habitat homes are built with heart and with hands. To every volunteer who's picked up a paintbrush, hauled lumber, or spent a Saturday sorting donations at the ReStore: thank you.

This mission runs on people who show up, and this fall we've got plenty of ways to put your time to good use, from build days to the shop floor.

Sign up to volunteer with us this fall at habitatmiddlekeys.org/donate-partner-volunteer/ .

Got cabinets, furniture, or fixtures collecting dust? Our ReStore accepts gently used building materials and home goods, turning them into affordable finds for local shoppers while funding our mission to build homes.

Furniture, appliances, light fixtures, and leftover renovation materials are all welcome; if it's in good shape, chances are someone in the Keys needs exactly that.

Text to 305-707-7467 with pictures of your donation and our ReStore Manager/Staff will reach back out to you with instructions.

Ever wonder what your gift actually builds? Every donation to Habitat Middle Keys goes toward materials and the construction costs of a new home.

The selected applicants who partner with us don't receive a handout: they earn their homes through 350 hours of sweat equity and a 0% interest mortgage, which keeps monthly payments genuinely manageable for hardworking residents of our island.

Your gift is the first domino. Help us keep homeownership within reach at habitatmiddlekeys.org.

Marathon, FL August 2026
Habitat for Humanity of the Middle Keys extends enormous Gratitude to Florida Keys Aquarium Encounters for their generous support of affordable homeownership in the Middle Keys!!! Their donation of $200,000 as a full-home sponsor of our most recent build at 105th Street Marathon is monumental to the success of our mission.
Habitat Middle Keys' partnership with Aquarium Encounters as a Community Contribution Tax Credit Program (CCTCP) donor began in 2024. Together we have built two amazing homes that were sold to hard working families on our island.
CCTCP is a State of Florida incentive program to encourage Florida businesses to make donations toward our building efforts. Call our Executive Director at 305-743-9828 / email her at [email protected] if you would like to know how your business can participate next year to help us build our next homes.

We're excited to share that Habitat Middle Keys has secured more land to build two brand-new homes. These will be sold to hardworking, long-term residents of our community: the teachers, nurses, tradesmen/women and other essential personnel who keep our island running but have been priced out of owning a home here.

It's early, and there's a lot of ground to cover before we begin this build. Help us make these next homes possible at habitatmiddlekeys.org/donate-partner-volunteer.

On July 1st, we celebrated our 49th-, 50th-, and 51st-homeowner families right here on 105th Street. Three families, one community, and a whole lot of proud faces under the tent as the ribbon was cut.

This is what affordable homeownership looks like when a whole island builds together: donors who gave, neighbors who volunteered, and families who put in hundreds of hours of sweat equity to earn their keys.

Stay tuned. We're just getting started on what's next at habitatmiddlekeys.org.
