Have you heard of the Texas Retired Teachers Foundation? This foundation is dedicated to giving back to both retired and active educators through its charitable programs. Boots and Books is a fundraiser for the foundation and promises to be a great evening out. At our February Mansfield RSEA meeting, we heard from incoming Superintendent Dr. Tiffanie Spencer and retiring Superintendent Dr. Kimberley Cantu.
We nominated and voted on officers for 2026-2027. We received TRTA updates, information about the spring conference, and details on voting resources.
Dixie D won the door prize. Our hostesses provided snacks, and we sent Valentine’s goodies to our Golden Girls.

Our February meeting was bittersweet as we welcomed incoming superintendent Dr. Tiffanie Spencer and said goodbye to Dr. Kimberley Cantù. Dr. Cantù’s six years of leadership and more than 30 years in education will be greatly missed.
