A huge thank you to all of the helping hands and hearts that made the 7th Annual Overdose Awareness Event.

We appreciate all the guests, the organizations and individuals who hosted resource tables, volunteers, and everyone who helped make this event a success.

Events like this remind us of the power of coming together—not only to remember those we have lost, but to support those who are still here and continue breaking the stigma surrounding substance use and recovery.

Together, we are making our communities safer, healthier, and more connected. 💜

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who continues to show up, share resources, offer hope, and remind people that recovery is possible.

💜 International Overdose Awareness Day 💜

Today, August 31, we pause to remember the lives lost to overdose, honor the families and loved ones who carry that loss, and stand with everyone whose life has been impacted by substance use.

Behind every number is a person. A loved one. A family member. A friend. A neighbor. Someone whose story mattered.

At Lighthouse, we believe that recovery is possible and that no one should have to walk this journey alone.

Today is also a reminder that there is hope, help, and a future beyond addiction. Let’s continue to raise awareness, support one another, and make sure those who are struggling know that they are not alone.

Today, we remember.
Today, we raise awareness.
Today, we choose compassion.
And every day, we choose hope.

You matter. Your life matters. Recovery is possible.
