PROVIDE A MEAL for this season of the Manitowoc Warming Shelter! Starting November 11 and going for 150 days, we need to provide dinner to up to 20 hungry neighbors. You can cook a meal or order a meal. If you cook, you can do it at home or onsite. Our guests like simple comfort food meals; nothing fancy needed. The Neighborhood of Manitowoc County is extremely honored to have been selected by UnitedOne Credit Union and Elan Credit Card to receive this grant. THANK YOU for believing in our community and being a partner to address homelessness.

In celebration of Credit Union Day 2026, Elan Credit Card (Elan) is donating $75,000 on behalf of five credit card partners to support organizations making a meaningful difference in their local communities. Through this annual initiative, Elan continues to recognize the impact credit unions have on the financial well-being of their members while helping extend that impact to causes that strengthen communities holistically.

"Credit unions play a vital role in helping individuals, families, and businesses thrive, and we are proud to support the communities they serve," said Peter Klukken, Head of Elan Credit Card. "Through the Elan Charitable Giving program, we can celebrate our partnerships in a meaningful way while helping local organizations expand their impact where it is needed most."

Each credit union selected a local nonprofit organization based on the unique needs of its community. Areas of focus this year include education, accessibility, advocacy, affordable housing, and more.

The 2026 Elan credit union partners and selected nonprofit beneficiaries include:
• Allegiance Credit Union, Latino Community Development Agency (Oklahoma City, OK)
• Aurgroup Financial Credit Union, The Nuxhall Foundation (Fairfield, OH)
• Chevron Federal Credit Union, Junior Achievement of Northern California (Concord, CA)
• Community Resource Federal Credit Union, Folds of Honor New York (Latham, NY)
• UnitedOne Credit Union, The Neighborhood of Manitowoc County (Manitowoc, WI)
In the coming months, Elan and one of its credit union partners will participate in a volunteer event with their selected nonprofit organization. This opportunity will allow employees to work alongside local volunteers and further the impact of the donation.

Celebrating five years in 2026, this milestone of the Elan Charitable Giving program reflects Elan’s commitment to purpose-driven partnerships that extend beyond business. Since launching in 2022, the Elan Charitable Giving Program has distributed more than $2.5 million to over 175 nonprofits across the U.S. In addition to financial contributions, Elan employees have volunteered over 350 hours to deepen the impact of the donations and foster collaboration between Elan and its partners.
