🇺🇸 This Memorial Day, we honor the men and women who gave their lives in service to the United States.

Did you know? During World War II, an estimated 1 to 1.5 million Americans of Italian descent served in the U.S. Armed Forces, representing roughly 10% of all American troops.

Today, we remember all who sacrificed for our country and the freedoms we cherish.

Italian-American author Jennifer Anton, Author Instagram boldwomanwriting's debut novel, Under the Light of the Italian Moon, was born from a deeply personal journey into her family’s past in northern Italy. What began as a search for answers became a fourteen-year exploration of love, loss, and, above all, the strength of Italian women. Set against the backdrop of two world wars and the rise of fascism, the story follows women who endured unimaginable hardship while holding their families and communities together.
