🎒✏️📚 Hundreds of MPAL kids and families are heading into the school year a little more prepared thanks to two incredible Manchester companies!

Our longtime friends at McLane Middleton collected, organized, and filled backpacks with school supplies, while the amazing team at Elliot Health System Radiology Department collected and delivered a huge variety of supplies that we were able to pack into even more backpacks for our families.

What makes this support even more special is that these partners show up for our kids year after year. Back-to-school expenses add up quickly, and their generosity helps take one thing off the plates of MPAL families while making sure kids have the tools they need to start the year ready to learn.

To everyone at McLane Middleton and Elliot Radiology who donated, collected, organized, packed, and delivered — THANK YOU for continuing to show up for MPAL kids! We are so grateful to have you in our corner. 💙🎒

☀️💙 What a way to wrap up an incredible summer at MPAL!

A huge THANK YOU to Miss Karla Karla Rae Hoggard and Miss Heather, two wonderful Manchester elementary school teachers who helped make our last day of Summer Program extra special! Miss Karla got everyone stretching, moving, and having fun with yoga, while Miss Heather brought two creative art and movement projects that kept our kids busy, engaged, and smiling.

And the kids weren’t the only ones getting in on the fun — even Deputy Mike Hillsborough County NH Sheriff's Office joined in on the action! 😄

We’re especially grateful that these amazing educators chose to spend part of their own summer break sharing their time and talents with our kids. It was the perfect ending to a summer filled with learning, trying new things, making memories, and having FUN!

Thank you, Miss Karla and Miss Heather, for helping us finish the summer on such a high note! ☀️🎨🧘‍♀️💙

🏉💙 A big THANK YOU to Amoskeag Youth Rugby Club for joining us again this summer for an introduction and skills session with our MPAL kids!

Our youth had the chance to learn the basics of rugby, practice new skills, get moving, and—most importantly—have a lot of fun trying something new. We love being able to expose our kids to activities they may not otherwise have the opportunity to experience!

And here’s something worth celebrating: most of the guest educators and community partners who visit MPAL throughout our summer program donate their time, talents, and resources to be here with our kids. Their generosity allows us to pack our summer with incredible experiences while continuing to offer programming completely FREE to families.

Thank you, Amoskeag Youth Rugby, for once again showing up for our kids and being part of what makes summer at MPAL so special! 🏉👏💙

💃🕺 Let’s Get Moving Week wouldn’t be complete without a visit from our longtime friends at Miss Kelsey's Dance Studio!

For years, the Miss Kelsey’s crew has been showing up for MPAL, always bringing an amazing group of teachers and current dancers who are ready to get our kids moving, laughing, and trying something new. Their annual visit has become a true summer favorite, and our kids look forward to it every year!

We’re so grateful for community partners who don’t just visit once, but continue to come back year after year to share their time and talents with our youth. Thank you, Miss Kelsey’s Dance Studio, for another fun-filled morning and for being such a wonderful part of the MPAL family! 💙👏

A special shoutout to Joe and Abby, who brought their talents to MPAL and gave our kids the opportunity to explore music, learn something new, and have plenty of fun along the way. 🎵

☘️💃 We wrapped up our final week of Summer Program with a little Irish flair!

A huge THANK YOU to our very own Hannah, who studied at Stillson School of Irish Dance, for spending the morning sharing her awesome skills with our MPAL kids! Hannah taught them some Irish dance basics, got everyone moving, and gave our kids the chance to try something completely new.

We love when members of our own MPAL family share their talents with our kids—and this was such a fun and memorable way to celebrate our last week of summer together. Thank you, Hannah! 💚👏

🚒🔥 A big THANK YOU to our friends from City of Manchester, NH Fire Department Truck 1 for coming back to visit our MPAL Summer Program kids again this year!

The crew gave our kids an up-close look at their equipment, demonstrated some of the lifesaving tools they use on the job, and answered plenty of curious questions. Of course, the highlight was getting to climb aboard the fire truck—and for some brave kids, even getting the chance to head up on the boom! 🚒🙌

We’re so grateful to the Truck 1 crew for taking time out of their day to teach, inspire, and have some fun with our kids. Visits like this give our youth a chance to learn more about our local first responders while building positive connections with the people who help keep our community safe. ❤️
