ONLINE AUCTION ENDS AT MIDNIGHT — Please share this post! We are down to the final hours. Place your bids for rounds of golf at 60+ courses and clubs throughout NH and beyond and help us meet our fundraising goal so McDonough can continue providing meaningful scholarships to the college students who work at courses and clubs throughout the state.

We’re trying something new and potentially fun at the end of the auction this year. It’s called Popcorn Bidding. For every item that receives a bid during the last minute of the auction, that particular item’s end time will extend by two minutes so a bidder who was outbid at the last possible minute hasthe chance to place another bid.

Be on the lookout for the link to McDonough's 5th Annual Online Auction on Friday, 5/15 - here, Instagram, our website, and via the 5/15 NHGA revision email blast.

The auction runs from 5/15 through 5/23.

Nearly 60 donated items will be available for bid, including rounds at courses throughout NH, as well as several additional opportunities at clubs in Florida, Massachusetts, Maryland, and Rhode Island.

This auction is an important one for us, so your support is greatly appreciated.

Less than one month remains to apply for a 2026–27 McDonough Scholarship before the May 15 deadline.

To begin the application process, please visit www.mcdonoughgolf.com

Once you have registered in the application portal, review all required documentation carefully—especially if this is your first time applying. Some materials must be obtained by third parties, such as your club of employment or an official transcript via your school registrar. Additionally, high school seniors must request a specific report from their guidance counselor or school principal through the application portal.

Be sure to allow yourself and these providers sufficient time to gather and submit all required documents.

The McDonough Scholarship Foundation is extremely grateful to The Brook for its very generous donation from five days of charitable gaming proceeds in September.

This money will go a long way toward ensuring that McDonough's five-year Endowing the Future Campaign hits this year's fundraising goal so McDonough can continue building the balance of The McDonough General Endowment Fund.

2025-26 McDonough Scholars - Be sure to check your mailbox this week, as scholarship award packages were mailed yesterday!

Last evening, The McDonough Scholarship Foundation's Board of Directors held their July meeting at Portsmouth Country Club.

2025-26 Scholarship Awards totaling $225,010 were approved by the board.

98 recipients from 40 clubs and courses all over New Hampshire will be receiving financial assistance from McDonough to help pay their college expenses for the coming academic year.

The McDonough Board of Directors extends its sincere gratitude to all of the clubs and courses, organizations and individuals who have so generously donated to support McDonough's mission over the last year.
