We all face difficult things in life and how we respond to them is key to the stability in our future. Cultivating steadfastness in our mindset, our emotions, and our faith is so important. We believe God is steadfast, and he can teach us how to not let outside circumstances shake us up. God will make us unshakeable, if we let him.

Sometimes, though it may be hard, we need to do a deep dive on the motives we have behind our dreams.

Are your dreams aligned with God’s will and his heart for the world, or are they a way you find significance?

I would encourage you to check in with God about your dreams and what he has to say about them.

It would be unfortunate to continue struggling to follow a dream that is not God’s will for your life and that won’t represent his name well.

Proverbs 16:9 says "In their hearts humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps." It is so important to partner with God in our dreams. Even though God will establish our steps, we still have to take those action steps forward and do our part. Lets trust God with our dreams!

God given dreams are connected to the purpose that He has for our lives. What is our purpose? It is to love God & love people!! So, your God given dream will connect you to bringing God’s hope, His truth & His love to people.

To see the dreams in our hearts become a reality, we must take action! Stepping into our dreams does take faith, and when God asks us to move forward with the dreams that are in His heart for us, He will meet us in these risk taking moments! The risks we take increase our faith in a mighty God, who will fight with us for our dreams! Risk takers truly become world changers!!

The purpose God has for each of our dreams connects us to His heart for humanity, to know His mighty love, truth & hope! Our dreams cannot be all about us!

Learning how to surrender our dreams to Jesus isn’t easy, but necessary. As we learn to partner with Him in our dreams, the Lord makes a way for provision & fulfillment of the vision that He put in our hearts. He gives us wisdom & strategy, the steps to take when launching our dreams on earth!

Trust Jesus with your dreams!

Consider each dream in your heart. Which dreams are connected to God’s heart for humanity? To His purpose for your life?

Intertwined in our dreams, is an expression of who we are as individuals. People experience us through God’s purpose in our lives.

So, as all of us start this New Year, let’s be intentional to ask God what His dreams are for our lives!

The Station is finishing up 2023 with gratefulness in our hearts. This year of our launch was beyond our expectations. Having the privilege to reach the younger generation through mentorship has been life changing. We love partnering with tremendous nonprofits who are making a huge difference in people's lives across the globe. We can't wait to see what God does next to increase our reach in 2024!

“There are times in my life when I doubt my place in the circles I am a part of;
I sometimes doubt my authority and I question my worth.
This has been a lifelong struggle filled with timidity and silence.
I never thought that my voice was valuable, when I sat at the table next to people, who had more credentials or life experiences than I did.
But I am CONSTANTLY reminded that “the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and a sound mind.” (2 Timothy 1:7)
I am not made to be timid, but to walk in the full power God has given me.
The Bible also says “Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young” (1 Timothy 4:12)
It was a very hard realization to see that I was the one looking down on myself and limiting myself because I am young.
I have questioned my seat at the table and if I am good enough to be there.
But if Jesus has called me to the table, he has set a place for me.
If Jesus has called me to the table, I belong there.
So if there is ever a time where you find yourself staying silent, or tiptoeing around people you think you are inferior to,
just be reminded that If Jesus has called you there, he has a purpose, and you have a seat at the table. “

On this Giving Tuesday, we are taking a moment to ask:

It has been a joy to partner with four nonprofit organizations in 2023. We hope this number will grow in 2024! The Station is not quite ready to set up The Station Foundation, which will become a business & financial resource in the future, for many nonprofit organizations. But right now, we are jumping in to help where we can, with these incredible nonprofits: The Namugga Mable Foundation, Smile I Stutter, SFC & Mission Isla Vista!

“We believe that there is MORE than enough in the Kingdom of God to go around for ALL of God’s kids! The Station 2.0 includes not only our dream to reach the young generation, but many dreams of others, who are also reaching youth & young adults with the love of God. Our heart is to build awareness, create momentum, bring sustainability, & pour wisdom into other nonprofit organizations! The Lord wants The Station to reach beyond ourselves, to contribute to the success of others’ God given dreams!”

Rachel Bowman, our founder, is on the Board of Directors for Snowboarders & Skiers for Christ and Smile I Stutter. She is also a mentor for the Jesus Burger House team of 14 young adults at Mission Isla Vista. Rachel has the privilege to mentor Namugga, who is the founder of the Namugga Mable Foundation & Trey Jr. School in Uganda. Peter Bowman, our other founder, is on the Financial Board for Mission Isla Vista.

Both Peter and Rachel want to see these ministries & nonprofit organizations continue to thrive and grow!!

We are asking that you join with us to support these first four organizations, that we get to ‘run with’.
