Mono Arts Council Mono Arts Council’s mission is to facilitate and encourage art appreciation through education, advocacy and art-inspired programs and events.

MAC provides visual and performing arts education for K-12 students in-school, after-school, and during the summer. We ensure every student in Mono County has access to this VITAL part of their education. Arts education increases test scores and attendance. Making art supports good mental health and provides opportunities for social-emotional learning. Our adult programs, including Art & Wine, the

Gallery & Art Center, and the Mammoth Celebrates the Arts Festival, help us raise money and awareness for arts education and gives local artists a place to showcase their talents.

🌿 Summer Camp countdown!

Art + Nature Summer Camp begins next week, and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome young artists ready to explore, observe, and create.

Details: From June 18-20, kids age 8-12 will explore and learn about nature and ecosystems, and try their hands at several different art projects along the way. We will both be adventuring in the outdoors and creating lots of art, as part of this camp.

New Exhibit Alert!! 🚨🎨

This Saturday June 13th, Mono Arts Council &
unveil a new show: Tending.

This show explores the relationships between forests, fire and community in the Eastern Sierra.

Exhibit opens June 13th and runs through September 14th, with an opening reception on June 20th here at Mono Arts Council.

The LAST DAY to view the student art show is Monday, June 8th.

Help us celebrate Elody Teefy’s next chapter! 💛

Now through June 20, all of Elody’s original block prints are 20% off at Mono Arts Council. Elody has shared so much creativity, talent, and joy with our Eastern Sierra community over the years as an artist, educator, and longtime friend of Mono Arts Council.

Her distinctive block prints blend influences from graphic design, scientific illustration, and traditional printmaking into a style that is uniquely her own.

Stop by the gallery to take home an original piece and help us send Elody off with our gratitude and best wishes. We’ll miss her creative spirit and presence in our community. 🎨✨
