Funky Fiber Earrings Workshop for Art & W**e at the end of the month!

Ready to make Join Elysia Fischbach with the Mono Arts Council on Tuesday, October 27 at 5:30 PM for a 3 hour workshop on funky fiber earrings.

You’ll learn how to choose fibers, then turn them into tassel and pom pom earrings with a pop of color. Everything you need is provided, from tassel and pom pom makers to jump rings, earring findings, and tools. All you have to do is pick your favorite colors and get creative.

Beginners and experienced weavers are both welcome, and the class is open to ages 10 and up. Since it’s a longer session, bring a snack, something to drink, and your readers if you use them.

🎨✂️ NEW Featured Artist Exhibit: "Remixing Reality" by Emily McAvoy opens next week on Wednesday, October 9th.

It started on a snowy night in a Big Sky, Montana cabin with no wifi and a whole lot of art supplies. That night in 2014 sparked Emily's lifelong love of collage.

Now, she cuts up nature photographs and remixes them with whimsy and a little magic. Landscapes become dreamscapes. Realism becomes surrealism. Creating this show even helped heal her during a tough season.

Come see the world through her remixed reality! 🌄✨

Opening Reception (same night as "Spark" exhibit!) on October 10th, 5-7 pm here at Mono Arts Council.

Our new seasonal show "Spark" opens THIS Friday, October 2nd here at Mono Arts Council and runs until January 2nd.

This brand new exhibit celebrates resilience and the hopeful hearts that keep going. These artists carry a steadfast light and inspire our community to stay thrive. Bravely, they dream of a loving, supportive world that puts people and nature first.

The 2026 Paint Mono County Plein Air Competition was a great success!

We had over 70 Artists participate by painting, attending workshops and packed the gallery for the Artist Reception. Thank you ALL for making this event a great success 🫶

New friends were made, a LOT of beautiful art was hung and four winners took home prizes; all the work was outstanding.
