Say hello to Chandler, one of the newest additions to our Altitude Project staff! Hailing from Hanford, CA, Chandler ran collegiately at Fresno Pacific University and St. Mary’s College, and now focuses on road racing—with standout performances like a 2:25:05 at the 2023 Houston Marathon. When he’s not logging miles, he’s a middle school teacher and high school XC/track coach at Central Valley Christian, and enjoys reading, podcasts, and spending time in nature. His favorite run in Mammoth? The long run to Hot Creek. Favorite hangout? Looney Bean. Chandler says Altitude helped him connect his faith and running in a deep, meaningful way—and he’s excited to help create that same experience for others this summer!

was one of the best staff members we could have asked for to have at camp these past 5 years. While obtaining a PhD, also created our new camp logo, was a planner and active leader in helping camp happen each year while also training intensely for his own road races. Thomas is just an all around kind and humble human being that God’s joy and love shines brightly within. We are so sad that this is his last year on staff but are incredibly grateful he is such a big part of the molding of camp into what it is today!
