Fighting Back Scholarship Program Welcome to the Fighting Back Scholarship Programโ€”A community of support.

Our mission is to recognize and provide scholarships for individuals who are Fighting Back from a life changing injury or illness through courage, desire, and perseverance. We recognize and provide financial assistance for post-rehabilitative exercise to individuals who have suffered a life changing illness or injury and have endured that experience through courage, desire and perseverance.

Some of our local ๐’๐“๐‘๐ˆ๐•๐„ members got to meet in person at Saturdayโ€™s Mind Your Brain Conference at Bryn Mawr Rehab Hospital! It was wonderful to see connections made in our online group come to life. ๐Ÿ˜€โฃ
โฃ
๐’๐“๐‘๐ˆ๐•๐„ is a free online fitness accountability group for survivors of brain injury. Members set SMART goals, encourage one another, and find practical ways to make movement and wellness part of everyday life. Saturday was a lovely reminder that an online group can build a real community of support.โฃ

After suffering an anoxic brain injury, Joe continues to show us what it means to keep moving forward. He trains twice a week, once with Ken and once with Orathay, and always arrives ready to work. Along the way, their familiar words of encouragement became such an important part of his workouts that Joe had them turned into T-shirts!โฃ
