The majority of members of FBI - LEEDA are Chief Executive Officers of law enforcement agencies, Directors and Commissioners of public safety, and elected Sheriffs throughout the United States and numerous foreign countries. One of the requirements for active membership in FBI - LEEDA is to have participated in a Command Institute for Law Enforcement Executives or the LEEDS training program at the

FBI Academy or one of the twenty-three regional FBI Command Colleges located throughout the United States. Members of the Association consist mostly of decision-makers from local, state and federal law enforcement agencies. In addition to FBI – LEEDA’s mission of leadership and management training excellence, the Association strives to provide information to its members which will enhance their ability to maintain an outstanding quality of life in the communities in which they serve. FBI-Law Enforcement Executive Development Association is a private, non-profit organization and is not part of the Federal Bureau of Investigation or acting on its behalf.

15 strategic communications professionals from Washington D.C., Pennsylvania, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, and Alabama came together in Bristol, Virginia for an outstanding week of Media & Public Relations training. Seven states in one classroom made for a richly diverse exchange of experiences and perspectives that elevated every discussion throughout the week.

Congratulations to all 15 graduates on completing the FBI-LEEDA MPR course. What an incredible week in Olathe, Kansas. 21 public safety leaders brought exceptional energy, engagement, and insight to the Executive Leadership Institute, resulting in powerful and thought-provoking leadership discussions from start to finish. With the World Cup buzz adding an extra charge to an already dynamic atmosphere, this was a week to remember.

Congratulations to all 21 graduates on completing the ELI, and a special congratulations to the 7 Trilogy Award recipients who completed all three FBI-LEEDA leadership courses — a tremendous achievement.

Public safety leaders from California and Arizona came together in Victorville for an outstanding week of supervisor-level leadership development. FBI-LEEDA instructors Mike Horn and Marcel Spaulding led an engaged and accomplished group through a productive and rewarding week. Congratulations to all graduates on completing the SLI, and a special congratulations to the 2 Trilogy Award recipients who completed all three FBI-LEEDA leadership courses.

A special welcome and thank you to the Victor Valley Union High School District Police Department — a first-time FBI-LEEDA host that came out of the gate with tremendous hospitality. Chief Chris Stowell, himself a Trilogy Award recipient, kicked off the class and set the tone for the entire week. A department that is only one year old and already investing in leadership development and a long-term partnership with FBI-LEEDA — that says everything. Thank you to Police Specialist Tami Holes for handling all logistics and daily support throughout the week. We look forward to hosting CLI and ELI with this outstanding agency later this year and into 2027.
