Last week, 19 leaders from Washington, Idaho, and Montana came together in Everett for a meaningful and impactful week of command-level leadership development. FBI-LEEDA instructors Kim Edmondson and Mike Hairston engaged the group with thoughtful discussions and exercises that challenged and inspired throughout the week. A sincere thank you to Chief Robert Goetz and the Everett Police Department for hosting at their South Precinct and for Chief Goetz opening the class with leadership insights drawn from over 35 years in the profession.

And in true Pacific Northwest fashion, the week even included shared stories about May 18, 1980 β€” the day Mount St. Helens erupted and blanketed the region in ash β€” a moment that reflected the resilience and lived experience each leader brings to the profession.
