Honored to Serve Those Who Serve

We were so grateful to spend Sunday with the Pennsylvania National Guard’s 131st Transportation Company at their Yellow Ribbon Reintegration Program Pre-Deployment event. 🇺🇸

It was an amazing opportunity to connect with Soldiers and their families and share how Stronghold Leadership helps Service members and Veterans prepare for life after the uniform through education and industry certifications.

Lou and Ellen had great conversations about using benefits like Army Credentialing Assistance, the GI Bill®, state tuition assistance, and our Veteran Scholarship Program to invest in their future careers.

Our goal is simple: help Service members and Veterans turn their military experience into meaningful, successful civilian careers.

Meet the Team | PMP Exam Prep Instructor Spotlight

Meet Marty Howe, a PMP® Exam Prep instructor with 26 years of experience as an IT Program and Project Manager across multiple industries.

Since 1999, Marty has led complex programs with one guiding principle: define success early and make it the North Star for the project team.

His advice to students: Success in project management starts with clarity. Marty encourages students to meet early with sponsors and stakeholders, understand exactly what “success” looks like from their perspective, and commit that definition to memory. When priorities shift or pressure builds, that shared understanding becomes the anchor that keeps projects - and careers - on track.

Outside the classroom, Marty enjoys watercolor painting and drawing, reading and studying history, bird watching, and revisiting a favorite read, The Story of Civilization by Will and Ariel Durant - proof that even seasoned project managers appreciate a good long timeline.

We’re especially grateful to Marty Howe for his continued advocacy on behalf of Veterans and for bringing decades of project leadership experience into the Stronghold Leadership classroom. His commitment to helping Veterans translate experience into opportunity is exactly what this program is about.
