The pack learned the basics of setting up a tent and how to build a fire, along with tips on camping safely and the six essentials to bring on any camping trip 🏕️

Cub Scout Pack 603 presents Outstanding Scouters Award

Malden Cub Scout Pack 603 Lions Den Leader Bekka Nolan was recently recognized with an Outstanding Scouters Award through The Sons of Liberty District – Spirit of Adventure Council, Scouting America. Scoutmaster Jason Altieri presented the award, which he termed a recognition of the leadership and impact she’s had since joining the pack.
“What makes Bekka stand out is not just what she accomplishes, but how she does it - with integrity, kindness and a genuine passion for making a difference,” said Altieri. “She approaches challenges with resilience and curiosity, and she meets every opportunity with resilience and purpose.”
“I’m very touched to receive this award,” said Nolan. “It’s been an honor working with the Cub Scouts this year, looking forward to having more fun with the pack next year and beyond!”

Malden Cub Scouts Pack 603 had a great time with the Raingutter Regatta on Thursday!

The Pack decorated the boats earlier in the month, and then provided wind power for their ships on race day. A great time was had by all!

Malden Cub Scout Pack 603 recently hosted a special ceremony for Lions and Wolves who finished their advancement requirements!

The Cub Scouts received their badge of rank, in recognition for completing six mandatory adventures and two electives.

Receiving the Lion badge was: Stella,
Amelia, Harrison, and November.

Receiving the wolf badge was Graham and Lowell.

Cub Scouts in Pack 603 had a great time building and decorating their boats for the Raingutter Regatta, which will be held at the next pack meeting on April 30th ⛵️
