TASK YWCA Malden The YWCA mission is to Eliminate Racism & Empower Women. YWCA TASK is a program for Malden High School girls in grades 9-12.

We create projects that revolve around important world issues and then educate the Malden Community on what we've learned.

REMINDER🎉 Our “BE THE CHANGE” event is coming up next week! It’ll be held on Thursday, June 11th at 6 p.m. All are welcome! THE TIME HAS COME☀️Our event “BE THE CHANGE” will be held on Thursday, June 11th at 6 p.m. All are welcome! We‘ve been working on our short film for a while now, and we can now finally show you all :) And don’t worry if you can’t make it, the video will be on YouTube shortly! The YWCA WorkSmart program and our YWCA TASK program showed up for the Job Fair at MHS today😌The TASK program is currently 🌟HIRING🌟 So, if you identify as a woman and you’re a student at MHS in grades 9-11, this may be the perfect opportunity for you! The TASK girls went to MHS to promote the HER SPACE program yesterday💅🏼Girls from each grade came up to us and demonstrated interest in the program, meanwhile completing our survey which entailed questions about availability and what they’d want to learn about! We gave out lollipops and bags filled with lip balm, hand cream, and a foldable hair brush with a mirror. If you or someone you know identifies as a girl and attends MHS who’s interested in attending, please scan the QR Code on the last slide or go to our bio. (Completing the survey does not mean you are obligated to attend, it’s just to get a head count of the number of people who are interested).🧚🏼‍♀️ Disclaimer: This is an ongoing, year round effort that will continue throughout the summer as well.
