Bike to the Sea We connect communities to the Northern Strand Trail. Soon enough anyone will be able to go from Somerville all the way to the Nahant beach on a car-free path!

We envision a culture of care and respect for the NST, the cities, towns and neighborhoods it serves, & for the people who wish to use it for transportation, recreation, and joyful outdoor experiences. Bike to the Sea's main focus has been the development of the Northern Strand Community Trail, a multi-use trail that will extend from Everett through Malden, Saugus, Revere to the Lynn waterfront. S

ince 1993 Bike to the Sea (B2C) is proud to have helped build the current community trail from Everett to Saugus, and secure the funding, design, and build-out for paving the last stretches in between Saugus and Lynn.

The City of Malden and Bike to the Sea are bringing back the popular Learn to Ride program for kids and adults.
