Meet Lucy!

Lucy is a spayed female who is approximately 8 years old. She LOVES people and kids, and, while she hasn't lived with other dogs in the past, she has been okay with them with slow introductions.

Lucy's owner is an elderly man, and he has had her since she was little and he received her as a gift from a friend. He loves her very much, but he has started to experience some memory issues and is going to have changes in his living situation in the new year, so it is TIME SENSITIVE AND CRUCIAL that we find Lucy a new home before January.

Lucy's owner does not have any family in the state and he is without a car. He loves his girl very much and wants what is going to be best for her.

Meet Milo!

Milo is approximately one year old, and he currently lives in the Orlando/Lake Nona area. He is approximately 40 lbs, and he's a brown/black unknown breed mix. Milo is up-to-date on shots and preventions, and he is great with other dogs and kids (cats unknown).

While Milo is a sweet and smart boy, he can get scared sometimes, and also experiences separation anxiety when his people are away. His current family is looking to find a new home for him that can better meet these needs.

Here's more about him from his current family in their own words:

"Milo is a very sweet polite boy. We adopted him from the shelter in Sebring. He had a rough start in life, the best we can tell, he had never been in a house before. He was underweight and eats and drinks as if he does not know when the next opportunity might be. He loves his puzzle toys and is super smart and can be fun and bouncy when he is at ease. He listens well and is on the road to learning all kinds of things, he already mastered sit and isn't too shabby at walking on a leash. Milo gets scared and uncertain at times and has severe separation anxiety. It breaks our hearts, but he needs a home where his forever family can dedicate a lot of time and patience to work with him to overcome his fears. He would also do best in a home that has a fenced in backyard and possibly a doggie door, something we are not in a situation to be able to provide for him. He truly is a wonderful dog that needs his perfect forever home."

BIRDIE IS BACK! 🐾

Remember this sweet, strong girl? She came into our care after being hit by a car, and, through donations from our amazing community, we were able to provide her with life-saving care. She is now a happy, healthy kitten looking for her furrever home, and being a tripod hasn't slowed her down once!

🚨🚨🚨PUPPY EMERGENCY- IN CRITICAL CONDITION🚨🚨🚨

AM update- Our sweet girl is responding to treatment but isnt out of the woods yet. We've raised $1400 but we anticipate her final bill being over $5000. Please continue sharing and keeping her in your thoughts❤️

One of our puppies- DD- is experiences a medical emergency and we had to move QUICKLY to keep her alive. She had labored breathing and was seizing. We are both impressed and grateful she survived the 1hr car ride to the emergency vet.

The staff at Oviedo Vet Care and Emergency JUMPED into action and got her in an oxygen chamber. The vet immediately suspected Aspiration Pneumonia and while that is likely what this is- we are doing further testing to rule out anything else.

We have paid a deposit of almost $3k and that's only a percentage of her expected bill. If she needs more hospitalization that price jumps up big time.

WITHOUT DONATIONS TOWARDS DD'S BILL THE RESCUE IS ALSO IN A CRITICAL SPOT FINANCIALLY.

SKYE'S SUNDAY FUNDAY 🎀

Skye recently had a special day thanks to one of our volunteers! Alexandra gave sweet Skye a break from her boarding facility to enjoy a car ride, explore the farmer's market, make new friends, and get lots and lots of pets. She was conked out by the end of the day!

Skye did great during the day, and she is so ready for the right family who understands her. Please consider adopting or fostering her.

MEET KYE 🐾

Kye is a 4-year-old Husky looking for his furrever home. He's 55 pounds of sweet personality, and he loves long walks on a leash, playing with friends of all kinds, and curling up with you on the couch.

Kye's curious nature has also made him a bit of an escape artist....He MUST be supervised in any yard and CANNOT have access to a doggie door. Look at that sweet face - chancing losing him isn't worth any risk!

Here's the lowdown on this happy boy:

Cassie, an adult female tripod, is still searching for her forever home. This sweet girl is smaller than you think (27 pounds!) and has never let the fact that she's missing a front leg let her miss out on any fun.
