💙The GOBA Foundation is NOW Accepting Grant Applications! Eligible nonprofits serving Orange, Osceola & Seminole counties can NOW APPLY to receive a grant through the Greater Orlando Builders Association Foundation.

As the charitable arm of the GOBA, our mission is to provide, in perpetuity, a vehicle for us to repay our community. Although the Foundation’s support is available to a broad base of worthy causes in Orange, Seminole and Osceola counties, two specific areas of particular interest have been targeted:

💡Youth: for there is no greater way to ensure the community’s future than by helping a child.
🎓Education: for there is no better way to demonstrate our gratitude than by encouraging someone else’s dream to flourish.

The Greater Orlando Builders Association Foundation has provided $5,000 in funding to support the immediate needs of The REED Charitable Foundation as they work to train more than 125 elementary school teachers during the summer of 2024, impacting nearly 3,000 children in the 2024-25 school year.

The funding goes toward the purchase of teaching materials that will be provided to teachers for in-classroom use in the instruction of the highly successful Orton-Gillingham Approach (OG) to overcome reading challenges faced by students with dyslexia. OG training is a language-based, multisensory, structured, sequential, cumulative, cognitive, and flexible approach to helping all, not just those with dyslexia, students become confident readers and writers.

We had so much to be thankful for at our Annual Holiday Party & Charity Nine & Wine Golf Fundraiser ⛳️ at Winter Park Golf Course!

The weather was perfect, our Sponsors hit a hole-in-one with their table presentations, and the Greater Orlando Builders Association Foundation donated $50,000 to five children's charities in Central Florida!

Shooting for a cause! Rain or shine, we had a blast at the Clay Shoot Tournament for Central Florida Children's Charities supported by the Greater Orlando Builders Association Foundation last Friday.

Congratulations to our tournament WINNERS from the Master Custom Builder Council Team: Greg Hardwick, JT Taylor, Richard Woodruff, and Chad Cahill who not only hit their targets but also donated their prize money right back to charity! 🏆💙

Thanks to all Sponsors and participants for making it a memorable day. A special thank you to Blackjack Sporting Clays staff who are amazing and served us up a feast of Sonny's BBQ that satisfied our post-shoot appetite! 🍖🔥
