We could go on and on for days about the United States Air Force and the incredible work they do in our communities and all over the world. RPHH honored those at the Hurlburt Field AFB with meals from restaurant partner Tijuana Flats - Fort Walton Beach, FL. This was a special delivery for us as Tijuana Flats Just in Queso Foundation is dedicated to the support of our US troops.

Community Hope Center of Osceola County continues to provide meals for families in need. Having served over 2,500 households we support them and the heroism they display in their community.

"COVID-19 has had a real impact on our ability to meet the needs of our community. Our program team has worked to overhaul their processes to continue advocacy work over phone and video calls, we had to press pause on a major fundraising initiative, we've canceled community outreach events, and we've worked to remodel our service center to restrict traffic through the building. Mainly, we have been responding to the enormous need for food assistance as so many of our neighbors found themselves out of work and without any unemployment assistance. This food support started with handing a few bags of non-perishables to a few clients each day, but it has swelled to a full-fledged drive-through operation."

If you are not familiar with Kids House, they serve as the single point of contact for child abuse investigations for Seminole County, Florida. Their mission is to provide aid to child victims of abuse by providing all necessary services from report and investigation through treatment and prosecution in a child-friendly environment.

We are extremely grateful for the work they have been doing, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. Thanks to Restaurant Partners Helping Heroes, we were able to deliver fresh, delicious poké bowls for them to enjoy!

Inspire of Central Florida is a local Non-profit organization located in Seminole County that provides vocational and life skills training services to developmentally disabled adults. Yesterday we delivered meals to them as they continue to provide for those in Seminole County. Thank you Inspire of Central Florida! 🎨💻⌚️📖
