Yasmine Beausejour-Joseph began her dance journey as an acrobatic dancer before transitioning into the competitive dance world, where she trained extensively in contemporary, jazz, ballet, and lyrical. As her passion for dance grew, she became especially drawn to storytelling and emotional expression through movement.

We are so excited to welcome Grace as our newest company dancer with Emotions Dance! 💃

Grace brings a beautiful sense of intention, grace (fittingly!), and artistry to the space. Her movement quality and presence are so captivating, and we can’t wait to watch her grow and shine on stage this season.

Grace Cheyne began dancing at 13 years old. Encouraged by her mom to take her first dance class, she quickly fell in love with dance and the many aspects of it that have helped her find herself.

She began her training at Imagine Performing Arts Center before continuing at the Orlando Ballet School in their Professional Training Program. Grace is drawn to authentic and freeing movement and is incredibly grateful to continue growing as an artist with Emotions Dance."

Julianna began dancing at the age of 3 in the Chicago area. She grew up training and competing with Aspire Dance Company in ballet, lyrical, jazz, hip hop, tap, poms and musical theatre. Julianna went on to dance during college while earning a BA in Biology and Sociology from Augustana College, IL. Her professional career began with dancing for the Deckmate Dance Team in the Quad Cities. Then, she relocated in 2019 to Orlando to perform at Disney World.

Jo Wokurka is a movement artist and choreographer who recently graduated from Marymount Manhattan College with a BFA in Dance and Choreography Concentration. They spent the past five years in New York City dancing works by Martha Graham, José Límon, Molissa Fenley, and Fatima Logan-Alston. Wokurka's a former member of Threadz of Truth, under the direction of Fatima Logan-Alston, where they performed in an African Diaspora style.

Join us at Momentum Dance Complex for a full lineup of intermediate and advanced classes in lyrical, contemporary, ballet, and across the floor technique. Whether you're refining your artistry or pushing your technique, there’s something for you.
