Tonight, Interlude changes.

Remedios’ immersive installation is activated with live music, adding sound and presence to a work built through textiles, color, memory and organic forms.

The artist describes the installation as a place to move through with the whole body—a garden shaped by grief, pause and renewal.

Two journeys. Two eras. One question running underneath both: who gets to move freely, and who gets to tell the story?

Viajeras, by Spanish playwright Alba Celma, brings together Asha, a young Iranian film student living in Madrid today, and the 1889 race around the world between journalists Nellie Bly and Elizabeth Bisland.

Winner of Open Scene’s 2026 Escena Abierta International Playwriting Contest.
