What an incredible week for our chapter at the Kentucky FFA State Convention!
We are especially proud of our state speech competitors and their achievements:
🏆 Westyn Miles – Agricultural Mechanics Speech – State Champion (1st Place)
🏆 Aleigha Hughes – Dairy Speech – 3rd Place
Also representing our chapter in the State Speech Contest were:
-Andree Boggess – Extemporaneous Speaking
-Taylor Pryor – Poultry Speech
-Damien Marlow – Turf & Lawn Care Speech
-Lilli Norman – Floral Speech
Congratulations as well to Aleigha Hughes, who competed in the Kentucky FFA Shark Tank Contest and earned $1,000 as an investment into her business- Barnyard Bliss Photography.
A special congratulations to Lilli Norman for serving on the State Nominating Committee, representing our region and chapter with professionalism and leadership.

The Kentucky FFA State Degree is one of the highest honors bestowed upon FFA members and recognizes outstanding achievement in agricultural education, leadership, and supervised agricultural experiences.
Our chapter was also recognized through the National Chapter Award program, placing in the top 10% of chapters in Kentucky and earning:
🏆 3rd Place – Growing Leaders Division
🏆 2nd Place – Strengthening Agriculture Division
🏆 2nd Place – Building Communities Division
Thanks to the success of our members and chapter throughout the convention, our students and program earned a total of $2,550 from the Kentucky FFA Foundation.
We are incredibly proud of these students and all of the members who represented Madisonville North Hopkins FFA throughout the week. Whether competing, earning degrees, serving in leadership roles, or showcasing the impact of our chapter, they demonstrated the hard work, dedication, and excellence that make our program special.
