HOPKINS COUNTY SPORTSMEN'S OUTDOOR EXPO OFFICIALLY CANCELED 2026

This week has been a very sad week. I've tried every way possible to keep from having to make this announcement. The bottom line is we chose to move the Hopkins County Sportsmen's Outdoor Expo to the Ballard Convention Center. The rent was $8050 including the $1000 deposit. We were asked by several to change the dates away from the Fair. We did everything we thought was right. Unfortunately The Lord has other plans. Officially The Hopkins County Sportsmen's Outdoor Expo 2026 is Canceled due to the lack of Financial Support. We are already planning to move the Expo for 2027. We already have a Potential Lead Sponsor for 2027. We aren't finished. We are regrouping. We will be back stronger than ever. A Huge Thank You to First United Bank, Sacramento Deposit Bank, Lindile Hunting Safaris, our Vendors and Supporting Friends. Refund checks are in the mail with the exception of one vendor working on verification. Our friends at Lindile Hunting Safari I'll be contacting them as well. We will have an official post later as it's created.

Who's attending the Outdoor Expo in Pikeville, KY? This is the weekend before our Expo in July. We are planning on setting up for the event. This will be a great opportunity to promote our KDFWR Commission Bonus Bear Permit.

Good evening everyone. We had an awesome weekend at the Kentucky Elk and Outdoor Fest in Bardstown, KY. We greatly appreciate all the support. We look forward to seeing everyone again next year. Very busy week ahead. Gearing up for the Outdoor Recreational Educational Trailer completion. We will also be working very hard to complete the Hopkins County Sportsmen's Outdoor Expo Vendor and Sponsor List. Lots of great things happening. We have everything from Take a Kid Fishing Events, Summer Camps, Expos and more. We are excited about some unannounced events coming soon. Stay close and keep your eyes and ears open. Announcement possible as early as next month. Have a blessed week.
