On this episode of Saturday Night Chat, we hear from Phil, a Madison local who has been in recovery
for over 42 years! A gifted storyteller, Phil recounts his early struggles with alcohol and substance use, along with the turning points that led him to recovery. He then reflects on experiences with Alcoholics Anonymous (AA), an organization that changed his entire life’s trajectory.

Phil offers a unique, long-view perspective on what sustains recovery and how it changes over a lifetime. Today, Phil remains extremely active in the Madison AA community and he has served as a sponsor and mentor to countless others on their own recovery journeys.

𝗥𝗲𝗺𝗻𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 is hosting a training fro CCAR Recovery Coaches on 𝑬𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒄𝒂𝒍 𝑪𝒐𝒏𝒔𝒊𝒅𝒆𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒔 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝑹𝒆𝒄𝒐𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒚 𝑪𝒐𝒂𝒄𝒉𝒆𝒔

Training is $200 per person and 16 CEs are awarded for completion.
